Plain English summary: JayJob stores your business data (jobs, customers, expenses) so you can run your trade. We use Groq's AI to generate quotes and invoices and to scan receipts — job details or receipt images are sent to their API for this. We don't sell your data. You can delete everything at any time.

All processors are subject to Data Processing Agreements and operate under adequate transfer mechanisms (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses).

Bank statement imports: if you upload a bank statement CSV to help populate your expenses, the file is read and processed entirely within your browser — it is never uploaded to our servers or any third party. Only the individual transactions you choose to import are saved as expense records in your JayJob account.

Your data is stored in two places:

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our live systems immediately. A copy may still exist in our automated encrypted backups for up to a further 7 days, after which it is permanently gone — well within the 30-day window described here. Local browser data is removed when you clear your browser storage.

JayJob uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your data locally. We use a single session cookie for authentication managed by Supabase. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

JayJob is a business tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
